The Uttar Pradesh government has assigned new responsibilities to two IAS officers in a recent administrative update.
Mrs V. Hekali Zhimomi has been appointed Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change. Meanwhile, Anil Kumar-3, who was serving as Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, and Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, has been relieved of the additional charge of the Forest, Environment and Climate Change portfolio.
The reshuffle aims to streamline departmental functions and strengthen environmental governance in Uttar Pradesh.
