In a recent reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government reassigned responsibilities to two IAS officers. Mukesh Kumar Bansal, Secretary, Finance, who was also handling General Administration (GAD), Commercial Tax (excluding Excise & Registration), and Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been relieved of the GAD portfolio.
Rajat Kumar, currently Secretary of Commerce & Industries and Public Enterprises with an additional charge of Commerce & Industries (Rail Projects), will now also hold the position of Secretary, GAD.
