Rahul Singh IAS transferred to Lakshadweep

Rahul Singh IAS, a 2013 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, was transferred to Lakshadweep on June 8, 2023. He was previously posted as Special Commissioner, Food & Supplies in Delhi Government. Singh is a graduate of IIT Roorkee and IIM Lucknow. He has held several important positions in his career, including Deputy Commissioner of Delhi, Secretary, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, and Director, Delhi Jal Board.

In his new role as Collector of Lakshadweep, Singh will be responsible for the overall administration of the Union Territory. He will also be responsible for the implementation of government policies and programs in Lakshadweep.

Singh is a highly qualified and experienced officer, and he is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of Lakshadweep.
