Arunish Chawla, a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM). He will also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Public Enterprises. Chawla brings extensive experience in economic policy and public administration, having previously worked with international organizations like the World Bank. His dual roles will involve steering India’s disinvestment program and enhancing the efficiency of public sector enterprises.
