Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, involving senior officers and key district-level postings. The changes include the appointment of new District Magistrates in Jalaun and Bahraich, along with changes in development, municipal and IT-related assignments.
Sameer has been appointed District Magistrate of Jalaun, moving from his role as Special Secretary in the IT and Electronics Department. He was also serving as Managing Director of UPDESCO.
Pankaj Verma, Secretary of the Moradabad Development Authority, has been posted as Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Barabanki.
Aakanksha Rana, formerly Municipal Commissioner of Jhansi, has been transferred as Special Secretary, IT and Electronics Department. She will also take charge as Managing Director, UPDESCO.
Rajesh Kumar Pandey, who was serving as District Magistrate of Jalaun, has been appointed District Magistrate of Bahraich.
Meanwhile, B. Sudhan, CDO of Barabanki, has been transferred as Municipal Commissioner of Jhansi.
The latest reshuffle brings changes across district administration, urban governance, development and the state’s IT and electronics setup.
