The Delhi Police has ordered the transfer and posting of Sh. A. V. Deshpande, IPS with immediate effect, following the recommendation of the Police Establishment Board and an order issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi dated August 6, 2026.
According to the order, A. V. Deshpande, who was serving as Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations), has been transferred to Joint CP, Rashtrapati Bhawan.
The order was issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Police Headquarters, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi.
