JAMMU: The Central Government has ordered the transfer of three AGMUT-cadre IAS officers from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect.
The transfers were approved by the competent authority and were notified by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on September 3, 2026.
According to the government order, the three officers have been relieved from their existing postings in Jammu and Kashmir and assigned to Arunachal Pradesh.
The officers transferred are:
- Mohd. Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT: 2012)
- Harvinder Singh, IAS (AGMUT: 2019)
- Shishir Gupta, IAS (AGMUT: 2020)
All three officers will now serve in Arunachal Pradesh, following the latest cadre movement approved by the Centre.
The transfers form part of the administrative deployment of officers under the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre.
