The competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) and Secretary, National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) to Sudhansh Pant, IAS (RJ:1991).
Pant, who is currently serving as Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, will take charge of both posts with immediate effect.
He will hold the additional responsibilities until a regular appointment is made or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
