Haryana Government assigns new roles to Six IAS officers

In a significant administrative reallocation, the Haryana government has assigned additional and new responsibilities to six IAS officers. Ravi Prakash Gupta, Commissioner of Hisar Division, will also function as Secretary, Urban Estate Department. Anshaj Singh, Director General and Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, has been given extra charge as Advisor, Civil Aviation, along with Secretary, Civil Aviation Department.

Vikram has been appointed Managing Director of Haryana Minerals Limited (HML), New Delhi, while continuing in his existing role as MD of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN). Virender Lather, District Municipal Commissioner, Ambala, and Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Ambala, will additionally serve as Special Secretary, Grievances Department. Sachin Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak, has been entrusted with additional roles as Additional Secretary, Irrigation & Water Resources Department, and Managing Director of Haryana State Minor Irrigation Tubewells Corporation (HSMITC). Aparajita, Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, has been assigned extra charge as Additional Secretary and Director, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Department.
