The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of five retired judges as ad hoc judges of the Allahabad High Court for a two-year term under Article 224-A of the Constitution of India. The recommended judges are Justice Mohd. Faiz Alam Khan, Justice Mohd. Aslam, Justice Syed Aftab Husain Rizvi, Justice Renu Agarwal, and Justice Jyotsna Sharma. The move aims to strengthen judicial capacity and expedite the disposal of pending cases at the high court.
