Hitendra Malhotra, General Manager of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, has been appointed as Member (Operations and Business Development) of the Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India. He is an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE).
