Kamal Kishore Soan has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Mission Director of the Jal Jeevan Mission under the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti. His appointment involves the temporary upgradation of a vacant Joint Secretary post in the department. Soan is a 1998 batch IAS officer of the Jharkhand cadre.
