Nine IPS officers of the 2013 batch have been promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) in Karnataka. The officers promoted include Dr Anoop A Shetty, Harish Pandey, Dr Suman D Pennekar, Divya Sara Thomas, Dekka Kishore Babu, C B Ryshyanth, Nisha James, Chandrakanth and Madhura Veena. The promotions are expected to strengthen district-level policing in the state.
