NLC India Limited (NLCIL) celebrated its 69th Raising Day on May 20, 2025, with a series of events honouring its legacy and future. CMD Prasanna Kumar Motupalli highlighted the company’s record financial performance and unveiled ambitious targets for lignite mining and renewable energy. A smart glass entry system and company mascot “Neyon” were inaugurated.
The CMD also paid homage to the company’s founder, Jambulinga Mudaliar, and recognized the contributions of former CMDs and retired employees. The celebrations included awards, a book launch on ethics, and cultural performances, including a stellar Bharatanatyam recital by Padma Bhushan awardee Ms. Shobana.
