In a significant administrative overhaul, the Punjab Government has reassigned 12 IAS officers to key positions across departments. Vikas Pratap has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Technical Education & Industrial Training, while Sumer Singh Gurjar takes charge as Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare.
Among other key postings, Kanwal Preet Brar has been named Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, and Babita will serve as Commissioner, Agriculture. Harpreet Singh Sudan assumes charge as Director, Sports & Youth Services, while Jaspreet Singh becomes Director, Industries & Commerce.
Further, Himanshu Aggarwal is posted as Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, and Abhijeet Kaplish takes over as Director, Mines & Geology. Amit Kumar Panchal is appointed DC, Sri Muktsar Sahib, while Varjeet Walia becomes DC, Jalandhar. Jasbir Singh II joins as Additional Secretary, General Administration & Coordination, and Akash Bansal has been posted as DC, Kapurthala.
