Rakesh Gupta appointed as CVO of CBDT; takes charge as DGIT (Vigilance)

Rakesh Gupta has been appointed as the Director General of Income Tax (Vigilance) and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). He is an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax cadre).
