In a recent development, Sajeesh Kumar N, currently serving as Coal Controller in the Coal Controller Organization, Ministry of Coal, has been assigned the additional charge of Commissioner (Joint Secretary level) of the Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation (CMPFO).
This additional responsibility will be effective for a period of six months, starting from May 1, 2025. Sajeesh Kumar is a 2002 batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) and brings considerable administrative expertise to his new role within the coal and provident fund sectors.
