In a significant development, seven IPS officers from the 2011 batch in Chhattisgarh have been elevated to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP). The officers promoted include Santosh Kumar Singh, Indira Kalyan Elesela, Govardhan Ram Thakur, Tilak Ram Kosima, Prashant Kumar Thakur, Ajat Shatru Bahadur Singh, and Dr. Lal Umed Singh.
