Parvinder Singh, currently serving as SP in the CBI, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG). He will hold this position until October 12, 2027, for a term of five years. Parvinder Singh is a 2011 batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre.
Additionally, Shivani Tewari, also serving as SP in the CBI, has been promoted to DIG and will hold the position until March 3, 2028, for a term of five years. She is a 2011 batch IPS officer of the Jharkhand cadre.
