The University of Washington has agreed to a $4 million settlement after students sued over tuition fees for in-person education they never received during the COVID-19 pandemic. While UW denies wrongdoing, the lawsuit argued that students paid for campus access but were restricted to online learning. Eligible students will receive compensation, with final approval expected in July.
