Varsha Ashok Aglawe becomes Geological Survey of India’s First Woman Director General

Varsha Ashok Aglawe has taken charge as the 54th Director General of the Geological Survey of India (GSI), creating history as the first woman to lead the country’s premier geoscientific institution since its establishment 176 years ago.
