IAS officer Virender Singh has been appointed as District Municipal Commissioner, Ambala, and Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Ambala, in Haryana. He belongs to the 2018 batch of the Haryana cadre.
The appointment is expected to strengthen urban administration and municipal governance in Ambala. As Municipal Commissioner, Virender Singh will oversee civic infrastructure, sanitation, urban development projects and administrative coordination within the municipal corporation.
The Haryana government continues to make key administrative appointments to improve governance efficiency and accelerate developmental initiatives across urban local bodies in the state.
