The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has appointed Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda as its new Director (Finance). Currently serving as Executive Director (ED) at SAIL, Panda was selected during the PESB meeting held on February 8, 2025. His extensive expertise in financial management and strategic planning played a key role in his selection from among ten candidates.
As Director (Finance), Dr. Panda will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, cost optimization, and investment strategies at SAIL. His leadership is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s financial stability and long-term profitability, aligning with SAIL’s vision for sustainable growth.
