The Bihar government has reshuffled seven IAS officers, assigning them to new key roles to strengthen governance.
- Chandrashekhar Singh has been appointed Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, and given additional charge as Secretary, Disaster Management Department and Chairman, Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited.
- Animesh Kumar Parasher will now serve as Commissioner, Patna Division, while continuing as Managing Director, BUIDCO.
- Yashpal Meena has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation.
- Shirshat Kapil Ashok has been appointed Special Secretary, Road Construction Department; Officer on Special Duty, Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited; Managing Director, Disaster Management Department; and also given additional charge of Comfed.
- Himanshu Sharma, CEO of Bihar Rural Livelihoods Project (Jeevika), takes on additional responsibility as Special Secretary, Health Department.
- Pradhumn Singh Yadav will join as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation.
- Kritika Mishra has been transferred as Sub-divisional Officer, Gogri, Khagaria.
This reshuffle aims to boost administrative efficiency across crucial departments and urban bodies in the state.
