Five senior officers in the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) and Director General of Income Tax (DGIT) have been reassigned to new roles. Ashok Kumar Jha has taken over as CCIT (OSD) in Mumbai, Alok Kumar is now DGIT (Investigation) in Mumbai and Deepali Chandra has been posted as CCIT, Ahmedabad-2.
Additionally, Sunil Kumar Singh is now CCIT in Ludhiana, and Shishir Dhamija has been appointed as CCIT in Panaji.
