The Indian Information Service (IIS) has reassigned nine officers to pivotal roles in media and communication. K Satish Nambudiripad has been appointed as Director General of Doordarshan HQ, while Ms. Kanchan Prasad takes charge as DG (M&C) of PIB Guwahati. These changes reflect the government’s efforts to bolster information dissemination and media outreach across the country.
