Tuhin Kanta Pandey, a 1987 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Department of Revenue. Known for his deep expertise in public finance and policy formulation, Pandey previously served as the Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), where he oversaw strategic disinvestments. His new role will involve managing India’s taxation policies, revenue mobilization, and GST administration.
